Arrive at lessons on time; arriving late will jeopardize the benefits of a full lesson.
Practice daily, being focused and consistent; make the best use of your practice time; practice guidelines:
Beginners - 20 to 30 minutes daily
Intermediate - 30 to 45 minutes daily
Advanced - 45 to 60 minutes daily
Ask questions during lessons; this is one of the best ways to improve your musical skills.
Come to lessons prepared and ready to learn;
- Bring all necessary materials such as notebook, drumsticks and method books.
All weekly assignments must be done.
- If there is a problem with the materials, please call me; I will be happy to explain the materials to you.
Talk with your drum teacher regularly about expectations and achievements; progress reports are available on request.
Participate in the annual drum recital, usually held during the month of May.
