Studio Policies

Cancelled Lessons

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance (the sooner, the better); this allows time to fill that slot, and the teacher will attempt to reschedule the lesson (providing there are time slots available).

• If less than 24 hours notice is given, the cancelled lesson will be charged in full.

• If a timely cancelled lesson cannot be re-scheduled due to unavailable time slots, the cancelled lesson will be charged in full.

• Three (3) cancellations, per school year, will be allowed after which no re- schedules will be made, and the missed lesson will be charged in full.

• If a lesson is cancelled by the teacher, again at least 24 hours notice will be given, and a make-up lesson will be scheduled, or there will be no charge for the cancelled lesson.

Missed / Terminated Lessons

• A lesson missed, with no notice, will be charged in full; no make-up lesson will be scheduled.

• If terminating lessons, either permanently or temporarily, please give at least 2 weeks notice.

Injury

• If a student becomes injured and is unable to play for any physical reason, it is recommended that he/she continue regular lessons.

• There is plenty to be learned without physically playing, including music theory, ear training, audio/video analysis and score study.

Snow Days

  •  Virtual lesson will be given (by Zoom) at student’s regularly-scheduled lesson time.

  • Instructor will contact student to let them know lesson will be online.

Lesson Payments

Monthly payment is due at the 1st lesson of the month. Cash is the preferred method of payment, but check is also accepted, payable to: Drumistick.

  • There will be a late fee of $10 for payments that are not made within two weeks of the due date, and lessons will be put on hold until proper payment has been made.
