Drumistick Studio started in June 2002 in fulfillment of a dream to offer full-spectrum, professional drum and percussion instruction without having to go to Milwaukee or other major cities for quality lessons.  Through state-of-the-art equipment, professional guest clinicians, and a wealth of knowledge from years of study under the world’s finest drummers, the studio is able to offer more than just “drum lessons.”  Drumistick Studio prepares the serious student for the exciting, and often challenging, world of modern day percussion.

Serious students of all ages come to the studio, ranging from 6 to 60 and with all levels of ability. Teaching focuses on drum set (rock, funk, R&B/hip hop, jazz/swing, contemporary Christian, and world beat), snare (rudimental, concert, and symphonic), and ethnic percussion (Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and Caribbean).  Emphasis is on strong fundamentals, including theory, technique, and reading.  Students who apply themselves leave with a well-rounded and qualified education in the art of drums and percussion.
